“The State of Business Services Modernization” report is out! Lt. Gov. Sylvia Luke hosted a virtual meeting on May 5 to officially unveil the report to state leaders who contributed their mana‘o to the report.

The report is a huge milestone that would not have been possible without the support of state leaders who took the time to provide us with an update on modernization initiatives underway or that are being planned in their respective areas. I appreciated their candid thoughts and insights on their implementation challenges and their thoughtful recommendations on how we can collectively move forward as a state. It’s clear that many want to see the transformation of our state government systems to provide more efficient, customer-focused service.

THG commissioned Anthology Research to conduct the surveys and compile the report that provides a general roadmap for next steps and serves as a catalyst for ongoing conversation. I would like to thank David Pettinger, senior partner of Anthology Research, and his team for leading the interviews with nearly 100 state leaders in 18 departments and reviewing more than a thousand pages of verbatim feedback to compile a succinct report.
